Leading soft drink manufacturer Pepsi unveiled its ideas to expose a phone under its brand. It had been just one month, and today the company has launched their new smartphone. The Pepsi- phone is available in two variations – Pepsi P1 along with P1s, and will be released in China. Although both devices include same requirements, the distinction between P1s and the Pepsi P1 is the fact that the latter includes FDD LTE assistance for China Unicom.
The mobile however include the Pepsi brand, it’s made by Shenzhen-based Scooby Communication Equipment Co and comes via a crowdfunding effort.
The brand new Pepsi mobile happens to be shown on crowdfunding site JD Finance (considered China’s response to Kickstarter) and it has been directed at early-bird backers at USD 78. The company planning to increase their capital to 3 million yuan by December 3.
The Pepsi P1 is a low cost mobile and is being offered like a crowdfunding task on the JD.com (China). The cost for that next 1000 devices is placed at 699 yuans (roughly Rs 7,200); when this inventory is exhausted, the customers will need to spend 999 yuans (roughly Rs 10,350).
Pepsi P1 provides a 5.5-inch Full-HD display and 2.5D curved-glass style on the firm’s amazing dido OS, that will be on the basis of the Android 5.1 Lollipop. Octa-core powered Mediatek MT6592 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Pepsi P1 includes a 13MP back camera with f/2.0 aperture, the front camera has 5MP resolution. It weighs about 158 grams including 3000 mAh battery. Fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the mobile just above the Pepsi logo.
This dual sim 4G smartphone includes a setup for storage expansion where you are able to insert a microSD card to increase the storage. For this, we will need to lose one sim card slot.
