It’s only been a few years since everyone started to develop wearable Tech. Smartwatches got very popular and are being used at the moment. Now, the technology meets fashion.
I have been reading about an inflatable hoodie that helps you sleep anywhere you want. As much as it sounds great, It certainly is not going to solve any problem. Their kickstarter project took off like a storm and funding exceeded over $300,000.
I recently stumbled upon a brand called Street Technology Experiments (STX). Instead of using the hoodie as a sleepy pillow, they created a way to use earphones as hood drawstrings . Now that is important problem to solve. They perfectly merged fashion and technology together. It’s a drawstring earbud (‘lacephone”) concept and the product has been fully patented.
Have you ever got frustrated with tangled earphones? I know I have. With this hoodie, you will never have to worry about it. The lacephone is connected by Auxiliary cord and is hidden within the hoodie lining.
They designed this hoodie to seamlessly connect to any smartphone device with the help of a set of cables and earbud lacephones through hidden channels in the hoodie. We use hoodie laces very less often and STX found a way to make it more useful. The mobile goes safely into zipper pocket without having to hold it. The lacephones can be easily removed to wash the hoodie.
Check out the STX hoodie’s indiegogo page for more information about this product and to be a backer. This project deserves to be in the market.
The STX hoodie is made of 100% cotton and very detailed stiching including heavy duty zippers. The hoodie is available for both men and women. There are 4 color options to choose from.
They have officially launched STX hoodie on the Crowd Funding plagform, Indiegogo on 18th Jan 2016. The funding has already met the fixed goal with 13 backers and increasing hour by hour.
