Soon after the launch of Canvas Blaze 4G Q400 budget smartphone into the market in September 2015, Micromax now listed its successor Canvas Blaze 4G+ Q414 in their official site.

The Price is yet to be officially announced by the company but surprisingly has listed its sale at a price of Rs.6,199. The upgraded mobile has got a highlighting 4G LTE support for faster and better internet.

The new Blaze 4G+ comes with Black color and has shared some common features with Blaze 4G which includes Android 5.1 Lollipop, 4.5 inch screen with a FWVGA IPS display of 854×480 pixels. Both have 8 GB of internal memory that can be extended up to 32GB via microSD card.

The older version has Snapdragon 210 soC but the newer is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit soC processor with an improved 8 MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera and 1 GB RAM.

Apart from this, the new handset supports Cat. 4 LTE with download speed of up to 150Mbps. Other connectivity options include 3G(HSPA+), Bluetooth 4.0, WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It has got ambient light sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensor.

The other highlighting feature is the company has added keyboard for regional languages, also added First touch menu to access commonly used apps.


The only major drawback is that the battery has been reduced from 2000mAh to 1750mAh but expected to deliver up to 5 hrs of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.

MM is a well known brand that offers at best price “nothing like anything”. It would be the best one among the budget mobiles available in the market today and may compete against Moto E 4G and Xiaomi Redmi 2 which falls under Rs. 6500.
